Perfect for families, elderly travelers, and seekers of both faith and adventure, this yatra balances comfort with spirituality in the heart of the Himalayas.
Arrive at Haridwar or Dehradun, where our team welcomes you for the beginning of your Himalayan yatra. Drive to Rishikesh, stopping for Yatra Registration and the Green Card process, which ensures safe entry into the mountains. The journey may take 4–5 hours, but it allows time to reflect on the significance of the pilgrimage. Visit Dhari Devi Temple, Guptkashi Temple, and optionally Kalimath before reaching Guptkashi/Rampur. Settle into your stay amidst the Himalayan foothills, where the air is pure and chants echo in the distance. Overnight stay in Guptkashi/Rampur.
Early morning transfer to Sonprayag followed by a short jeep ride to Gaurikund, the sacred starting point of the Kedarnath trek. Begin the 17 km trek (pony or palki options available) towards Kedarnath, surrounded by snow-clad peaks and sacred chants. The trail tests endurance but fills the heart with devotion. For a quicker journey, helicopter services are available from Sirsi/Phata (extra). By evening, arrive at Kedarnath Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, offering prayers in this timeless shrine. Overnight stay in Kedarnath with the magical backdrop of the Himalayas.
Wake up to the divine chants of Kedarnath and attend the morning aarti or darshan. After prayers, begin your descent back towards Gaurikund. Retrace your steps, taking in the majestic views of glaciers and valleys. From Sonprayag, return to Guptkashi/Rampur where comfort awaits after the trek. This day is lighter, allowing pilgrims to rest and rejuvenate while absorbing the spiritual energy gained from Kedarnath. Overnight stay in Guptkashi/Rampur, surrounded by the serenity of the lower Himalayas.
After breakfast, drive towards Chopta, a breathtaking alpine meadow tucked away in the Garhwal Himalayas. Known as the “Mini Switzerland of India,” Chopta is untouched by commercialization and offers pristine natural beauty. The drive is scenic, with glimpses of pine forests and snow-covered peaks. Upon arrival, settle into your accommodation and enjoy the peace of this Himalayan wonderland. Evening is free for relaxation or short walks around the meadows. Overnight stay in Chopta under star-lit skies.
Begin the day early with a trek to Tungnath Temple, the world’s highest Shiva temple at 3,680 meters. The 5 km trek is moderate and rewarding, with trails adorned with rhododendrons in spring and snow in winter. For the adventurous, continue the trek to Chandrashila Peak, which offers panoramic views of Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Chaukhamba peaks. Return to Chopta/Sari village by evening. The combination of devotion at Tungnath and adventure at Chandrashila makes this day unforgettable. Overnight stay in Chopta.
Enjoy a scenic drive to Badrinath, a key stop in the Char Dham circuit. En route, visit Joshimath, where Adi Shankaracharya established his seat of learning. Upon arrival, visit the sacred Badrinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Explore Mana Village, the last Indian settlement near the Tibetan border, where legends come alive at Ganesh Gufa, Vyas Gufa, and Bheem Pul. Witness the origin of the Saraswati River before returning to Badrinath for an overnight stay.
After morning darshan at Badrinath Temple, begin the drive towards Srinagar in Uttarakhand. On the way, witness the sacred Panch Prayags, where holy rivers merge in spiritual harmony—Nand Prayag, Karan Prayag, Rudra Prayag, and Dev Prayag, where the Alaknanda meets the Bhagirathi to form the holy Ganga. This drive is a spiritual highlight of the journey, offering countless opportunities for reflection and photography. Evening arrival in Srinagar, where you’ll stay by the serene Alaknanda River.
After breakfast, drive back to Haridwar/Dehradun. Stop at Rishikesh to walk across Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula or visit Parmarth Ashram. In the evening, attend the famous Ganga Aarti at Har-Ki-Pauri in Haridwar, an experience that resonates deeply with every traveler.
