Embark on a divine 4-day Kedarnath Yatra that combines natural beauty with deep spirituality. The yatra concludes with blessings at Rishikesh and Haridwar, where the Ganga Aarti leaves you spiritually uplifted. Perfect for families, devotees, and seekers of peace, this journey is more than a pilgrimage — it is a soulful experience.
Day 1: Haridwar/Dehradun – Guptkashi/Rampur
Arrive at Haridwar or Dehradun and begin your scenic drive to Guptkashi/Rampur, a journey of about 8–9 hours through the Garhwal Himalayas. Along the way, visit Dhari Devi Temple, a guardian goddess of the Char Dham route, and, if time permits, Guptkashi Temple where the Pandavas are believed to have prayed to Lord Shiva. The route includes government Green Card verification, which may take a few hours. By evening, check into your hotel in Guptkashi/Rampur, where the cool Himalayan breeze sets the tone for your spiritual adventure. Overnight stay.
Day 2: Guptkashi/Rampur – Kedarnath
Start early with a drive to Sonprayag, followed by a shuttle ride to Gaurikund, the trek base. Begin the 17 km trek to Kedarnath, or opt for pony, palki, or helicopter services from Sirsi/Phata. As you ascend, feel the spiritual pull of the mountains leading you towards Lord Shiva’s abode. Upon reaching Kedarnath, seek darshan at the ancient Kedarnath Temple, set against snow-clad peaks. Evening aarti here is a divine spectacle. Stay overnight at Kedarnath, where the stillness of the mountains enhances the spiritual aura.
Day 3: Kedarnath – Guptkashi/Rampur
After morning darshan at Kedarnath Temple, begin your descent back to Gaurikund, then continue your journey to Guptkashi/Rampur. This return gives you another chance to absorb the pristine beauty of the Garhwal Himalayas and reflect on the profound spiritual experience. On arrival, relax at your hotel with the Himalayas in the background. Overnight stay at Guptkashi/Rampur.
Day 4: Guptkashi/Rampur – Haridwar/Dehradun (via Rishikesh)
Post breakfast, drive towards Haridwar/Dehradun with a memorable stop at Devprayag, the confluence of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda, where the sacred Ganga originates. Continue to Rishikesh, exploring Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, and Parmarth Niketan Ashram. Later, reach Haridwar for the evening Ganga Aarti at Har-Ki-Pauri, a mesmerizing ritual of devotion and lights. By evening, transfer to Haridwar/Dehradun airport or railway station for your onward journey.
