Day 1: Delhi – Haridwar
Arrive at Delhi Airport or Railway Station where our representative greets you and assists with your transfer to Haridwar (220 km, 5–6 hours). On arrival, check in at the hotel and freshen up. Visit the famous Mansa Devi Temple and Chandi Devi Temple, perched on hilltops, offering panoramic views of Haridwar. In the evening, witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti at Har-ki-Pauri, where thousands of lamps illuminate the sacred river and chants fill the air. Overnight stay in Haridwar.
Day 2: Haridwar – Rishikesh – Barkot
After breakfast, proceed to Rishikesh for Yatra registration. Spend some time exploring Rishikesh, renowned as the Yoga Capital of the World, with its ashrams and ghats along the Ganges. Continue your drive to Barkot (216 km, 7–8 hours), a scenic town at the foothills of Yamunotri. On the way, vehicle and passenger checks are conducted for mandatory green card formalities. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Barkot.
Day 3: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot
Today marks the first dham of your journey. Drive to Janakichatti (45 km), the base point for Yamunotri. Begin your trek or hire pony/doli (at own expense) for the 6 km journey to Yamunotri Temple. Pay respects to Goddess Yamuna and witness devotees cooking rice in the hot springs, offered as prasad. After darshan, return to Barkot for relaxation and rest. Overnight stay in Barkot.
Day 4: Barkot – Uttarkashi
Morning free to relax or visit Lakhamandal, an ancient temple complex linked to the Mahabharata. Later, drive to Uttarkashi (80 km, 3–4 hours). On arrival, visit Prakateshwar Cave Temple, with its natural Shivling formation, and Kashi Vishwanath Temple on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. Evening free for spiritual walks by the river. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.
Day 5: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi
Early departure for Gangotri (100 km, 5 hours). Enroute enjoy the scenic drive along the Bhagirathi River. Take a holy dip at Gangotri Ghat and offer prayers at Gangotri Temple, where Goddess Ganga is believed to have descended on Earth. Spend time at the serene surroundings before returning to Uttarkashi by evening. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.
Day 6: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi/Rampur
Today’s journey takes you to Guptkashi or Rampur (230 km, 8–9 hours). Enroute visit the famous Tehri Dam and Dhari Devi Temple, the protector goddess of Uttarakhand. If time permits, you can also visit Guptkashi Temple and Kalimath, one of the Shakti Peeths. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Guptkashi/Rampur.
Day 7: Guptkashi/Rampur – Kedarnath
After breakfast, drive to Sonprayag and take the local shuttle to Gaurikund, the base for Kedarnath trek. Begin your 17 km journey to Kedarnath by trek, pony, or doli (self-arranged). On arrival, check in at the guesthouse and later attend evening darshan at Kedarnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, surrounded by majestic snow peaks. Overnight stay in Kedarnath.
Day 8: Kedarnath – Guptkashi/Rampur
Morning darshan of Kedarnath Temple (optional), followed by trek back to Gaurikund. Drive back to Guptkashi/Rampur for rest and relaxation after a spiritually uplifting trek. Overnight stay in Guptkashi/Rampur.
Day 9: Guptkashi/Rampur – Chopta
After breakfast, proceed to Chopta, often referred to as the “Mini Switzerland of India.” This small hamlet is surrounded by lush meadows, rhododendron forests, and views of snow-capped peaks. Evening free for leisure walks and nature photography. Overnight stay in Chopta.
Day 10: Chopta – Tungnath Chandrashila Trek – Chopta
Early morning trek to Tungnath Temple (3.5 km), the world’s highest Shiva temple. After darshan, adventure enthusiasts may continue another 1.5 km to Chandrashila Peak for breathtaking views of Nanda Devi, Chaukhamba, and Trishul ranges. Descend back to Chopta or Sari village by evening. Overnight stay in Chopta.
Day 11: Chopta – Badrinath
Drive to Badrinath (185 km, 7–8 hours). Enroute visit Joshimath and temples of Adi Shankaracharya. Upon arrival, explore Mana Village – India’s last village – with attractions like Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, Bhim Pul, and Saraswati River origin. Evening darshan at Badrinath Temple. Overnight stay in Badrinath.
Day 12: Badrinath – Srinagar
After breakfast, drive to Srinagar (185 km, 5–6 hours). Enroute witness the Panch Prayag – the sacred river confluences of Nandprayag, Karnaprayag, Rudraprayag, and Devprayag. Evening at leisure in Srinagar. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 13: Srinagar – Rishikesh
Morning drive to Rishikesh (106 km, 3–4 hours). Explore famous attractions such as Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, and Parmarth Ashram, known for its evening Ganga Aarti. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.
Day 14: Rishikesh – Delhi
After breakfast, drive back to Delhi (220 km, 5–6 hours). Drop at airport/railway station for onward journey with divine memories of Char Dham Yatra.
